Steven Dagenais Narvaez, also known by the stage name Stiiich, is an Ecuadorian-Canadian composer, sound designer, multimedia producer, DJ, cultural strategist and creative director, born in Ecuador and currently based in Tio’Tia:Ke/Montreal. Working at the heart of technology, audiovisual art and environmental practices, Stiiich’s works are multilayered, multidisciplinary and intersectional. They range from sound design, sound art exhibitions, creating soundtracks for films, to Latin American folk songs and, lately, experimenting with the sounds of the Global Bass Club, which has given him a strong presence in Montreal’s underground electronic music scene.
